 MUSEUM OF VIKING HISTORY

The Emerens Museum of Viking History is proud to be the only museum in the world dedicated entirely to the study of Viking culture. Since its founding in 1987, the museum has advanced its mission to discover, interpret, and restore artifacts of early Norse origin, working hand in hand with its partners at the Emerens Institute. Throughout the years, the museum has amassed a sizable collection of items bearing profound historical significance, including rune stones, weapons, tools, nautical instruments, and fine art. In addition to what's on display, the museum also has an extensive archive of rare documents and artifacts, accessible to academics for research purposes. The museum is also renowned for its preservation and historical restoration program, with staff and apprentices consistently working to expand the collection.
